Field Tire Technician for Southern Jutland

Fixed working hours, your own service van, and a workday spent out in the field with customers. Are you looking for a hands-on job where you won’t be stuck in the same workshop all day? We’re looking for a field tire technician for a long-term temporary position with our partner in Aabenraa Municipality. You’ll be provided with a service van and will spend your workday helping customers throughout Southern Jutland.

Here, you’ll enjoy a workday that offers autonomy with responsibility, customer interaction, and hands-on tasks.

You’ll start your workday at the company’s location in Aabenraa Municipality, from where you’ll drive out to visit the day’s customers in Southern Jutland. Your primary task will be to change tires at the customer’s location, so the customer doesn’t have to drive to a shop themselves.

The company specializes in mobile tire service, where the service is performed at the customer’s home, workplace, or another agreed-upon location. Service and a convenient solution for the customer are central elements of the concept.

Experience as a tire technician, auto technician, mechanic, or in the automotive industry is a plus. However, you don’t need to know everything from day one, as you’ll receive training alongside an experienced employee.

Your Responsibilities

Your workday will mainly take place on the road and at customers’ locations.

Among other things, you’ll:

• drive out to residential and commercial customers in Southern Jutland
• perform tire changes at the customer’s location
• inspect wheels and tires as part of the job
• handle wheels safely and correctly
• ensure that the service van and your equipment are ready for the day’s tasks
• provide customers with professional and friendly service

This is a physically demanding job that requires you to use your body, and the pace can naturally be fast during the tire seasons.

We expect you to

• have a Class B driver’s license
• can communicate in Danish, both written and spoken
• are service-oriented and good at interacting with a variety of people
• enjoy physical and hands-on work
• can take responsibility for your own tasks when you’re out visiting customers
• works carefully and takes good care of both customers’ cars and the company’s equipment

If you have previously worked as a tire technician, auto technician, auto mechanic, service technician, or with cars and tires, that will be a definite advantage.

However, experience in the tire industry isn’t essential if you have the right practical understanding and a desire to learn the job.

The most important thing is that you’re good with your hands, can work independently, and understand that good customer service is an important part of the job.
