Test technician sought in Nørresundby — do you know mechanics and have a feel for technology?
Job Description
Do you have a solid mechanical understanding, and are you motivated by finding faults, analysing measurement results, and making sure technical systems work as they should?
On behalf of our partner we are looking for a technically strong test technician to work with testing and quality assurance of CF pumps. Your day brings mechanics, measurement technique and systematic fault-finding together.
The job suits you if you have a mechanical or technical background and want to use your skills in practice.
Your technical tasks
You are responsible for carrying out tests of the pumps and for making sure the results meet the technical requirements.
Your main tasks will be to:
- Test and trial CF pumps.
- Run performance and function tests to check the pump's operation and output.
- Take sound and vibration measurements.
- Find faults on pumps and technical systems, and identify any deviations.
- Record, analyse and document test results.
- Work with the project department on technical problems and test runs.
- Take part in FAT tests (Factory Acceptance Test) together with the customers.
You therefore need to combine practical technical understanding with a systematic approach to tests, measurements and documentation.
Your technical background
We imagine that you have a relevant technical education, or practical experience from mechanics, industry or maintenance, for example.
You might be a trained mechanic, a truck mechanic, or have another technical background that gives you an understanding of mechanical components and technical systems.
We also value that you:
- Have a good mechanical understanding and a basic knowledge of electricity.
- Are interested in technical fault-finding, measurements and testing.
- Are comfortable with IT and find it easy to work in technical systems.
- Can work in a structured way with test results and technical documentation.
- Have an analytical approach and are good at identifying deviations.
- Can work on your own and take responsibility for the tasks being done correctly.
- Communicate clearly and can work with technicians, the project department and customers.
Experience with FAT tests, or with testing pumps and other technical systems, is an advantage — but not a requirement.
We value quality and skill
You work carefully and understand that precise measurements and correct documentation are decisive for a reliable test result.
You take initiative, show up reliably, and are comfortable with a varied day where the tasks need both practical understanding and technical insight.
You also need to be flexible and ready for the possibility of evening-shift work later on.
Practical information: You must live within 30 km of the workplace, which is in Nørresundby.
What you get
- A technical job focused on testing, measurements and fault-finding.
- The chance to work with how pumps function and perform.
- A day with both practical and analytical tasks.
- Close work with skilled colleagues and customers.
- The chance to develop your technical skills in testing and quality assurance.
