Shipping Coordinator Wanted for a Company in Vejen

On behalf of a major international company, we are seeking a Shipping Coordinator for a long-term temporary position.

You’ll be part of a fast-paced work environment, where you’ll be responsible for coordinating shipments and ensuring that goods arrive on time.

Your responsibilities

• Preparing export and customs documents
• Coordinating the loading and unloading of goods
• Conducting inventory reconciliations
• Obtaining freight rates and booking freight
• Contacting and corresponding with carriers and shipping lines
• Creating orders
• Monitoring shipments and ensuring timely delivery
• Handling delays, damage, or lost shipments
• Invoicing for various markets
• Data entry and updates in ERP systems
• Filing and various ad hoc tasks
• Identifying opportunities for improvements and cost savings

We’re looking for someone who

• Has experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding
• Preferably has relevant office training
• Has experience with international trade
• Has a good command of English
• Is organized and detail-oriented
• Thrives on handling a variety of tasks and meeting deadlines
• Has a knack for IT and, preferably, experience with ERP systems
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
