Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and quality-conscious employee for a long-term temporary position at a manufacturing company in Herning, working at the company’s paint shop. You’ll be part of the production team and play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the facility. The job requires that you stay focused, follow established procedures, and ensure that the workpieces are processed correctly and to the required quality standards.
The work schedule consists of 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week.
A typical workweek will be:
- Monday 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
However, it is important that you are flexible regarding your work schedule. Production can vary from week to week, so shifts may be scheduled on different days or alternate between day and night shifts.
For example, a workweek might look like this:
- Monday, 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, 5:00 p.m.–5:00 a.m.
- Thursday 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
You must therefore be prepared for the fact that your work hours may vary depending on the company’s production needs.
Your job duties may include:
- Operating and monitoring painting equipment
- Preparing workpieces for production
- Hanging and handling workpieces
- Inspecting quality and surface finish
- Ensuring stable operation of the system
- Cleaning and tidying up around the system
- Ad hoc production tasks
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a production environment and can maintain focus throughout a long workday.
You do not necessarily need to have training in painting, but experience in production, paint shops, surface treatment, or similar fields would be an advantage.
We value candidates who:
- Have experience in production or industry
- Can work 12-hour shifts
- Are flexible regarding day, night, and weekday shifts
- Work thoroughly and focus on quality
- Can follow instructions and established procedures
